Selection Procedure for UG  |  Selection Procedure for PG


The selection procedure consists of following steps:

  1. The candidates who have registered for SICSR will be short-listed for GD/PI based on their SET test score. The short-list will be put up on http://sicsr.ac.in on 24th May 2010. E-mail confirming your selection will be sent to the e-mail id provided at the time of registration.
     
  2. GD/PI will be conducted on 31st May 2010 & 1st June 2010 at SICSR, Pune only. At the time of GD/PI candidates should submit following documents:
    1. Online registration form along with his/her photograph and sign on it.
    2. Attested photocopies of SSC, HSC. In case you are appearing for HSC examination, kindly attach photocopies of XI mark list and XII Admit card.
    3. An attested copy of the category certificate, if applying for a category seat.
       
  3. Original certificates should be carried by the student for verification at the time of GD/PI
    1. Merit list will be displayed on the Institute’s website. E-Mail message confirming selection will be sent to the e-mail id and selection letter will be dispatched on your address provided at the time of registration.
    2. The selected candidate is required to pay the fees as per the schedule to secure the admission; otherwise the seat will be given to next candidate in the merit list.
    3. The acceptance of fees by the Institute does not mean that the admission is confirmed, as all admissions are subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria of SIU.
       
    The distribution of marks for the selection procedure will be as follows:
    1. SET Test: 100 Marks [50% of SET Score]
    2. Group Discussion: 20 Marks
    3. Personal Interview: 30 Marks
    4. Note : Equivalent score in merit list is sequenced as per HSC marks.
