GNUnify is the annual technical festival of Symbiosis Institute Of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), the event was initiated in the year 2003 with the aim of establishing a common platform for students and IT professionals of our country vying to be the proponents of Free and Open Source Software(FOSS) movement.

Through GNUnify, we aspire to propagate the concept of Free and Open Source Software.
GNUnify '08 is "a forum to unite open minds". GNUnify: the name symbolizes the concept of GNU/Linux, the philosophy behind open source, unifying and strengthening the open source movement, sharing and spreading knowledge, with the help of IT.
SICSR presents this 2-day activity on Feb 8th and 9th which is open to all. This way SICSR contributes to the FOSS cause and seeks support from the like-minded professionals from the corporate world and field of IT.
